5- Mental illness: If one of the spouses has a mental illness and the other spouse cannot be expected to live with him due to this illness, a divorce case can be filed. An important issue here is that there is a medical report stating that mental illness cannot be corrected with treatment.

6- Shaking of the marital union: Except for the reasons above, all the facts that cause the marital unity to be shaken to its foundation are included under this heading. Here, the court will decide whether the marital union is really shaken or not. The important point here is that a person who shakes the marital union with his flawed actions cannot file a divorce case. Because the person cannot benefit from his own fault.
